Estrategias para disminución de glosas en el laboratorio clínico de la E.S.E Hospital Venancio Diaz Diaz

Abstract

El estudio realizado en la E.S.E. Hospital Venancio Diaz Diaz de Sabaneta Antioquia, se centró en identificar los tipos de glosas para desarrollar estrategias que mitiguen su impacto y optimicen los recursos. El estudio subraya la importancia de abordar las glosas a través de una estrategia integral que involucre a todo el personal del hospital. La implementación de un plan de mejora bien estructurado puede llevar a una gestión más eficiente de los recursos y a una prestación de servicios de salud de mayor calidad.The research conducted in the clinical laboratory of the Venancio Díaz Díaz Hospital sought to identify the causes of glosses in billing and propose strategies for their reduction. A mixed methodology was used, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, collecting data through surveys, interviews, and document review. The results showed that the main causes of glosses are the lack of information in the clinical history, errors in the coding of procedures, and the lack of staff training. Strategies were proposed to improve the quality of information in the clinical history, staff training, and the implementation of a gloss control system. It was concluded that the implementation of these strategies can significantly reduce the number of glosses and improve the efficiency of the clinical laboratory.
