dc.description.abstractEl artículo examina los fundamentos, alcances y desafíos actuales de la intervención psicosocial en el campo del trabajo social, destacando su papel en contextos de alta complejidad social. A través de una revisión narrativa, se abordan enfoques metodológicos, estrategias de acompañamiento profesional y competencias críticas requeridas para una praxis eficaz. Se reflexiona sobre la relación entre teoría y práctica, así como sobre los retos éticos y formativos que enfrentan los trabajadores sociales. El análisis concluye con propuestas orientadas al fortalecimiento del enfoque psicosocial como eje articulador de intervenciones integrales, sensibles al contexto sociopolítico contemporáneo.
