Memoria histórica e identidad cultural a través del cine: análisis educomunicativo del Festival de Cine Campesino de San Vicente Ferrer

Abstract

El Festival de Cine Campesino de San Vicente Ferrer surge por la necesidad de fortalecer el escenario artístico y cultural del municipio, ubicado en el Oriente Antioqueño, así como de ofrecer una nueva mirada a lo que significa ser campesino o campesina en la actualidad. Con este contexto, la investigación se centró en analizar cómo el Festival de Cine Campesino de San Vicente Ferrer fortalece la memoria histórica y la identidad cultural de la comunidad mediante herramientas educomunicativas. Para alcanzar este objetivo, se implementó un enfoque de investigación mixto que permitió obtener una visión integral del festival. Por un lado, el componente cualitativo aportó a la comprensión de los procesos culturales y comunitarios, mientras que el cuantitativo proporcionó datos medibles que respaldan la valoración del impacto en el entorno digital y social. La recolección de datos se llevó a cabo a través del análisis de contenido, entrevistas semiestructuradas y diarios de campo, lo que posibilitó un acercamiento directo a la experiencia comunicativa y cultural que genera el festival en el municipio. Los principales hallazgos evidencian que el festival actúa como un medio educomunicativo que, si se gestiona adecuadamente, puede potenciar y afianzar la identidad cultural y la memoria histórica del territorio. Así, San Vicente Ferrer se proyecta como un referente regional de expresión cultural, al centrar su festival en la integración intergeneracional y la reinterpretación de la vida campesina a través de historias contadas por y para la comunidad.The San Vicente Ferrer Peasant Film Festival arises from the need to strengthen the artistic and cultural scene of the municipality, located in Eastern Antioquia, as well as to offer a new perspective on what it means to be a peasant today. In this context, the research focused on analyzing how the San Vicente Ferrer Peasant Film Festival strengthens the historical memory and cultural identity of the community through educommunicative tools. To achieve this objective, a mixed research approach was implemented, allowing for a comprehensive view of the festival. On one hand, the qualitative component contributed to understanding cultural and community processes, while the quantitative component provided measurable data supporting the assessment of the impact on the digital and social environment. Data collection was carried out through content analysis, semi-structured interviews, and field diaries, enabling a direct approach to the communicative and cultural experience generated by the festival in the municipality. The main findings show that the festival acts as an educommunicative medium that, if properly managed, can enhance and solidify the cultural identity and historical memory of the territory. Thus, San Vicente Ferrer is projected as a regional benchmark for cultural expression, focusing its festival on intergenerational integration and the reinterpretation of peasant life through stories told by and for the community.
