dc.description.abstract | Los Servicios Asistidos por Animales (SAA) han surgido como un enfoque complementario prometedor para mejorar el bienestar físico y psicosocial de los pacientes pediátricos oncológicos, basándose en el vínculo humano-animal como herramienta terapéutica. El objetivo fue analizar la evolución y las tendencias de la investigación sobre el impacto de los SAA en la calidad de vida de los niños y niñas con cáncer. Se empleó una metodología de análisis bibliométrico de producción científica y un análisis de redes de co-citaciones, mediante las plataformas Bibliometrix y Tree of Science. Los resultados resaltan beneficios emocionales y físicos de los SAA, como la reducción de síntomas de ansiedad, dolor y depresión, además de una mejor adaptación hospitalaria y socialización de los niños. Se encontraron tres clústeres que reflejan tendencias de investigación sobre cáncer canino, terapias oncológicas emergentes y SAA en oncología pediátrica, siendo este último el foco del presente trabajo. Se discuten vacíos en la estandarización de protocolos, escasa implementación hospitalaria y falta de evidencia concluyente en algunos estudios. Se concluye que los SAA son una alternativa complementaria de atención integral para el bienestar psicosocial en oncología pediátrica, aunque se requieren investigaciones más claras para su aplicación efectiva. | spa |
