| dc.description.abstract | La problemática de abuso sexual se ha convertido en un foco de atención por su gravedad, alta prevalencia y porque ocasiona múltiples consecuencias negativas, entre ellas, Trastorno de Estrés Postraumático (TEPT). En la presente investigación documental se elaboró un Estado del Arte sobre las características del Trastorno de Estrés Postraumático en víctimas de abuso sexual, según investigaciones realizadas entre 2009-2019. Los resultados muestran que el TEPT es una consecuencia asociada al abuso sexual con una prevalencia importante. Se trata de reacciones psicofísicas producidas principalmente por la reexperimentación del evento traumático que activa conductas de evitación, entre otras. A diferencia de otros trastornos la causa del TEPT puede ubicarse fácilmente en el trauma. Existe una diversidad de factores involucrados en la ocurrencia del abuso sexual lo que deja una amplia gama de consecuencias que afectan significativamente a la víctima e inciden en la magnitud al momento de conceptualizar y comprender el fenómeno. El TEPT se presenta junto a otras secuelas o síntomas como ansiedad, miedo, ira, culpa, vergüenza; este trastorno no se limita a simples criterios diagnóstico pues el origen del trauma se entiende desde varias perspectivas. Finalmente, las investigaciones revisadas tienen importantes limitaciones especialmente en lo relativo al diseño metodológico. | spa |
| dc.description.abstracteng | The problem of sexual abuse has become a focus of attention due to its seriousness, high prevalence and because it causes multiple negative consequences, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In the present documentary research, a State of the Art on the characteristics of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder in victims of sexual abuse, according to research conducted between 2009-2019, was elaborated. The results show that PTSD is a consequence associated with sexual abuse with a significant prevalence. It involves psychophysical reactions produced mainly by the re-experiencing of the traumatic event that activates avoidance behaviors, among others. Unlike other disorders, the cause of PTSD can be easily located in the trauma. There is a diversity of factors involved in the occurrence of sexual abuse which leaves a wide range of consequences that significantly affect the victim and affect the magnitude at the time of conceptualizing and understanding the phenomenon. PTSD is presented together with other sequelae or symptoms such as anxiety, fear, anger, guilt, shame; this disorder is not limited to simple diagnostic criteria since the origin of the trauma is understood from various perspectives. Finally, the research reviewed has important limitations, especially in terms of methodological design. | spa |
