Abstract

As the family is one of the most questioned social institutions today, a variety of interesting topics arise from it for academic proposals; in public and private educational institutions, in governmental and non-governmental organizations, and even in the community in general. The family is a subject of constant debate that in everyday life becomes a phenomenon of social pressure, because, being a permeable system, it somehow generates an element of justification for the interests of different social structures, such as religion, capitalist economy, media, and politics, conditioning it and predetermining it to seem to be “family” by granting it pseudo-satisfactory elements that transgress it and do not allow it to be itself. It is for this reason that the practice process in the three agencies—Secretaría de Educación de Bello, from the Unidad de Atención Integral, with people with disabilities from the “PERSIBE” Sports Club (People in Wheelchairs from Bello), Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar, Barrio Olivares, with mothers using community homes, and SENA, Agropecuarian Center “La Salada” Caldas, with internal apprentices—is systematized from the problematization of family dynamics, as these populations allowed for a deeper understanding of the subject, from the very experience of their families, and which, confronted with family intervention theories and methodologies, generates a topic of interest for Family Development students, scholars of human and social sciences, researchers, directors, and administrators of the Family Development faculty, and even for social groups interested in learning about family topics. This document aims to transcend the experience, giving body and form to the essence of being a person and family from their daily lives, thus generating a series of events that articulate theory with practice; from this articulation, the experience itself, the feeling, and the desire to know more are born, and in Prospectiva, it generates concerns, expectations, and different lines of reflection regarding the knowledge of promotional intervention in family dynamics. It should be noted that this document has an enriching background; thus, initially, the foundation of the systematization is found, what it intends to achieve, and the concept with which said process is sustained; subsequently, the institutional philosophical framework of both FUNLAM and the practice agencies where the experience was developed appears, in addition to characterizing the population, its problems, and explanations; further on, the theories that guide this work are found, maintaining reflectivity that allows a permanent dialectic between theory and practice; the Methodological Foundation with which said experience was objectified is found, constituting this the most relevant part of the work, since it encompasses an entire experience. It is in some way a feeling, a compilation, not cold or impersonal, but on the contrary, a process which has a sense of appropriation with academic awareness and family prospective; finally, an approach to critical reflective analysis is found with some meanings, answers, questions, and some proposals with the expectation of qualifying future practice processes in Family Development. Therefore, this work constitutes an element that not only enriches the particular experience but also aims to potentialize the Family Development Program. Through these pages, it is hoped to transcend the academic process and leave a reflection that allows constant feedback with the social and academic environment.
