| dc.description.abstract | El estudio evidencio que Colombia tiene una gran industria de concreto, esta se ha consolidado a través del tiempo, en principio se veía muy necesaria ya que se necesitaba reemplazar el material con que eran construidos todos los proyectos que como sociedad se iban necesitando, si bien esta industria proporcionó bienestar por mucho tiempo al país, se reconoce que fue hasta hace muy poco su regulación respecto al impacto ambiental que esta tenía, la extracción de materiales que permitiera realizar el producto final, los procesos que generaban gases y hacían uso del agua fueron elementos que se vio necesario evaluar para la conservación del medio ambiente y del habitad de muchas especies. En cuanto a los impuestos que estas empresas pagan por daños ambientales podría entonces surgir una pregunta ¿es suficiente el pago de impuestos frente a daños que son en ocasiones difíciles o irreparables? Quizá se creen programas que ayuden mitigar el daño, pero el pago de estos puede representar un alivio económico para el estado, pero la naturaleza sufrió el daño y tardará quizá años o siglos para que se recupere. | |
| dc.description.abstracteng | The study evidenced that Colombia has a large concrete industry, this has been consolidated over time, in principle it was very necessary because it was needed to replace the material with which all projects were built as society needed, although this industry provided welfare for a long time to the country, it is recognized that it was until recently its regulation regarding the environmental impact it had, the extraction of materials to make the final product, the processes that generated gases and made use of water were elements that were necessary to evaluate for the conservation of the environment and the habitat of many species. Regarding the taxes that these companies pay for environmental damages, a question could then arise: is the payment of taxes sufficient in the face of damages that are sometimes difficult or irreparable? Perhaps programs are created to help mitigate the damage, but the payment of these taxes may represent an economic relief for the state, but nature suffered the damage and it may take years or centuries for it to recover. | |
