Una pastoral de la migración: Hacia una propuesta teológica para el acompañamiento de la iglesia a los migrantes

Abstract

El artículo aborda el tema de la pastoral de la migración como una propuesta teológica que responde al fenómeno contemporáneo de la movilidad humana. Por ende, el problema de investigación se centra en cómo la migración puede convertirse en un lugar de encuentro entre la fe y la cultura, y cómo la Iglesia puede acompañar a los migrantes mediante una pastoral. Por lo tanto, el objetivo principal es analizar teológicamente la migración como signo de los tiempos y proponer orientaciones pastorales que respondan a los desafíos actuales de la iglesia. El marco teórico se fundamenta en la Doctrina Social de la Iglesia, los documentos del Magisterio, y en aportes de teólogos como de Gutiérrez, Sobrino y Cortina, integrando las categorías de aporofobia, interculturalidad y pueblo peregrino de Dios. Además, los resultados hallados muestran que la migración no es solo una crisis social, sino una oportunidad teológica para renovar la identidad eclesial, promover la justicia y fortalecer la fraternidad universal. En fin, el aporte del artículo consiste en ofrecer una visión teológica y pastoral integral que interpreta al migrante como sujeto de fe y como lugar teológico donde se revela el rostro de Cristo, proponiendo una pastoral basada en los verbos: acoger, proteger, promover e integrar.This article addresses the pastoral care of migrants as a theological approach to the contemporary phenomenon of human mobility. Therefore, the research question focuses on how migration can become a point of encounter between faith and culture, and how the Church can accompany migrants through pastoral care. Thus, the main objective is to analyze migration theologically as a sign of the times and to propose pastoral guidelines that respond to the Church's current challenges. The theoretical framework is based on the Social Doctrine of the Church, Magisterial documents, and contributions from theologians such as Gutiérrez, Sobrino, and Cortina, integrating the concepts of Aporophoby, interculturality, and the pilgrim people of God. Furthermore, the findings demonstrate that migration is not only a social crisis but also a theological opportunity to renew ecclesial identity, promote justice, and strengthen universal fraternity. In short, the article's contribution lies in offering a comprehensive theological and pastoral vision that interprets the migrant as a subject of faith and as a theological place where the face of Christ is revealed, proposing a pastoral approach based on the verbs: welcome, protect, promote, and integrate.
