Abstract
El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la relación existente entre los niveles de apego, las pautas de crianza y la autoeficacia académica en estudiantes universitarios del programa de psicología de la Universidad Católica Luis Amigó. Se utilizó u n enfoque cuantitativo no experimental, correlacional y de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 437 estudiantes de los diferentes niveles del programa, los cuales fueron seleccionados mediante muestreo aleatorio estratificado. Para la invest igación, se utilizaron tres instrumentos psicométricos: El Inventario de Apego a Padres y Pares (IPPA), el Inventario de Pautas de Crianza (IPC) y la Escala de Autoeficacia Académica (EACA), donde los resultados mostraron relaciones significativas entre la s variables, señalando que los estudiantes con apego seguro y pautas de crianza democráticas tienen mayor niveles de confianza, autonomía y autoeficacia académica. Por otro lado, los estudiantes las pautas de crianza negligentes y los apegos inseguros se p erciben con menor eficacia académica y compromiso escolar. Finalmente, se identificó una correlación positiva entre la comunicación parental y el compromiso cognitivo, donde se refleja la importancia del acompañamiento emocional para el desarrollo académico. En conclusión, las experiencias familiares tempranas influyen en la construcción de las habilidades que el estudiante universitario utilizará para el rendimiento académico y la autoeficacia en el entorno universitario. Es por ello, que se sugieren tres est rategias de fortalecimiento para el acompañamiento educativo en la universidad.
This study analyzed the relationship between attachment styles, parenting patterns, and academic self - efficacy among Psychology students at Universidad Católica Luis Amigó. A quantitative, non - experimental, correlational, and cross - sectional design was emp loyed. The sample consisted of 437 students selected through stratified random sampling. Three psychometric instruments were applied: the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA), the Parenting Patterns Inventory (PPI), and the Academic Self - Efficacy Scale (EACA). The results revealed significant correlations among the variables, showing that students with secure attachment and democratic parenting styles exhibited higher levels of confidence, autonomy, and academic self - efficacy. Conversely, insecure attachment and negligent parenting styles were associated with lower academic engagement and perceived efficacy. A positive relationship between parental communication and cognitive engagement was also identified. In conclusion, early family experiences p lay a determining role in shaping self - efficacy and fostering academic development among university students.
