Abstract
Este proyecto de grado, titulado En busca de inspiración: creación de una herramienta para estimular el pensamiento creativo, tuvo como objetivo desarrollar y aplicar una herramienta didáctica denominada MUSAS para fomentar la creatividad en estudiantes del curso Procesos Creativos del programa de Publicidad de la Universidad Católica Luis Amigó (Medellín). MUSAS es un juego pedagógico basado en tres engranajes simbólicos (ritual, lenguaje y narración), que operan mediante dados temáticos que integran música, color, figuras retóricas y elementos narrativos. La herramienta fue aplicada en una única sesión de clase, a un grupo de estudiantes, y su impacto fue evaluado mediante un formulario estructurado de 19 preguntas, diseñado para indagar percepciones sobre utilidad, claridad, dinamismo, inspiración y conexión simbólica. El estudio se desarrolló bajo un paradigma positivista, con un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño descriptivo de corte transversal, al recoger y analizar datos numéricos en un solo momento sin manipulación de variables. Los resultados evidencian que MUSAS es valorada como una herramienta estimulante y clara, que favorece el desbloqueo creativo, activa múltiples dimensiones del pensamiento y permite a los estudiantes generar ideas nuevas desde lo lúdico y lo simbólico. Se concluye que la herramienta es pertinente como recurso pedagógico en cursos orientados a la creación, y que su metodología lúdica puede ser replicable en otros contextos formativos.
This thesis project, titled In Search of Inspiration: Creation of a Tool to Stimulate Creative Thinking, aimed to develop and apply a didactic tool called MUSAS to foster creativity among students of the Creative Processes course in the Advertising program at Universidad Católica Luis Amigó (Medellín). MUSAS is an educational game structured around three symbolic gears (ritual, language, and narration) represented through thematic dice combining music, color, rhetorical figures, and narrative elements. The tool was applied during a single classroom session and evaluated using a structured 19-question. The questionnaire explored students' perceptions of the tool’s usefulness, clarity, playfulness, inspiration, and symbolic resonance. The study followed a positivist paradigm with a quantitative approach and a descriptive cross-sectional design, collecting and analyzing numerical data at one point in time without variable manipulation. Results show that MUSAS is perceived as a stimulating and effective resource that facilitates creative thinking, supports idea generation, and leverages playful and symbolic dynamics. It is concluded that the tool is a relevant pedagogical asset for creativity-oriented courses and offers potential for adaptation in other educational settings.
